Warm Snow
Publishers gets a lot of comments on the name. My publishing
adventure was an outgrowth of a business I began in 1984 --
weaving handmade garments. The feel of the clothing I created
is warm and pure like snow.
I learned
to weave in the mountains of New Mexico where on special days
in the winter, snow will fall even when the sun is shining and
there are no clouds creating "warm snow". On some
of these pristine days, you can look up into the sky and see
sparkling crystals forming in the air before they float gently
down around you.
That's my
company name's origin. The books I write and publish are designed
to help you own your own life, turn your creativity into cash
and support the growth of family run businesses -- an important
part of keeping America a land of opportunity and freedom.
