Tips for using keywords in your craft site content for better rankings

Here are 3 tips from the new book on how to sell crafts online:

•     Place your important keywords near the top of a web page in the first few paragraphs of text. Keywords that appear near the beginning of a paragraph and near the end of a paragraph result in “keyword prominence” which helps your ranking.
•     Optimize your page for two or three of the most popular relevant keyword phrases on each page.
•     Don’t stuff your content with the same keywords. Look for alternative but synonymous terms and related phrases to scatter throughout yur text.
