Sell Your Crafts Online at eCrater.com

eCRATER.com - Free Place to Sell Your Crafts Online

In addition to eBay and Etsy, another site to sell your crafts online at is eCRATER.com. eCRATER.com is basically a free online marketplace with many categories of products, including crafts. The site includes ecommerce / store building applications to make it easy to put up your own store. Buyers can browse your craft items along with thousands of others.

The price is right – eCRATER.com is a free marketplace for showing your work. The website builder application is easy to learn and to update. Your products are automatically listed in the site’s index. And your craft products are posted to Google Product Search, too.

Does eCRATER get traffic? At the time of this post, it was ranking 6,233 on Alexa. Any site with an Alexa ranking of 100,000 or less gets loads of visitors and incoming links. The site has been written about in Business Week, on CNN, and quite a few other major media outlets.

Are craft makers selling crafts online here? According to some posts at craftster.org, sales are happening. My take on it is that if it’s free and it’s getting traffic, it’s probably worth your while to set up a store there. The more places you have to sell your crafts online, the better, because people shopping for crafts and see your name and start to recognize it. They become familiar with you and therefore more confident about doing business with you.
