Just came across a relatively new site for selling handmade crafts from: Zibbet.com Zibbet brings together buyers and sellers of handmade goods, fine art, vintage items and crafting supplies.
There are no upfront costs. Set up a store free and list as many items as you want. When you make a sale, they take a 7.5 percent commission off the sales price.
You can follow their tweets at http://twitter.com/zibbet

Hmmm…haven’t heard of Zibbet…off to check that out. Thx for the tip.
Etsy gets so much more publicity and is more widely known than, say, Artfire or Made it Myself, that I wonder how Zibbet will fare.
I basically gave up on my MIM shop…it’s still open but I only have a dozen items listed.
My Etsy shop does very well, I actually have more sales from repeat customers that we’ve been able to do without Etsy, so my numbers are actually much higher than they show but I’ve saved $ by not going through Etsy.
My Artfire shop is okay…I’ve only had it a little more than a month and it’s coming along.
Of course, my website is my best one but I don’t mind selling on multiple sites get your name out there.
I love my Zibbet shop and have started listing more things on it. While I did enjoy Etsy, I’m just tired of how big it’s gotten and how they don’t listen to us sellers. Zibbet does an amazing job of communication and listening to feedback. While it’s not as big as the other sites, I think it’s going to only get better!
