you have joined the Affiliate Program, check your email
for your user name, password, and linking code. Print
and save the information. Some email managers block autoresponders
so check your trash or junk email boxes for mail from
jamesd@craftmarketer.com

can I place my affiliate links?
Place the
affiliate linking code we provide you in emails to your
opt-in subscribers, on web pages, in online articles and
other places you make recommendations. You get paid on
(and only on) all products ordered through your code.
You may
not send bulk emails, unsolicited emails or spam email
of any kind. Affiliates who violate this policy will be
terminated immediately and no commissions will be paid.
How
long do cookies last?
Cookies
assigned to your visitors by our shopping cart remain
for 3 years, so you can rest assured you'll get long time
value from being an affiliate and recommending our books.
Can
I get a shorter, abbreviated affiliate linking code?
Typically
an affiliate code is rather long and looks like, well
. . . an affiliate code. When your visitors know you are
earning commissions, they are less likely to click.
However,
when you make use of a shorter friendly address, they
will not hesitate to click through. For example, the following
affiliate code:

can be abbreviated to:
http://www.craftmarketer.com/anyname
This
method incorporates your affiliate code while
insuring you get full credit for all referrals.
Email
us with your desired "anyname" if you wish

Can
I purchase books for myself through my own affiliate links?
Sorry
but no. We've found people joining the affiliate program
solely to order the books and save themselves some of the
cost. The affiliate program is for web site owners who want
to earn money.
